Description
In the present work, nanoscaled zerovalent irons (nZVI) were synthesized from the plant extract of Mangifera indica (mango) under atmospheric conditions through green synthesis. A systematic characterization of nZVI was performed using UV, XRD and SEM studies. The diameter of iron nanoparticles was predominantly found within the range of 50 to 100 nm. The novelty of this study is to comprehend a suitable biocompatible herbal reductant for biosynthesis of zerovalent iron nanoparticles at a very cost-effective level and the results are quite encouraging.
